•  Segundo a Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), 44% das vítimas do tráfico são alvos de exploração sexual, 32% são aliciadas para exploração no trabalho e 25% sofrem com a combinação de ambos os tipos de exploração. Ainda segundo a OIT, pelo menos metade dessas vítimas de tráfico são menores de 18 anos. 
• As principais rotas do tráfico de brasileiras para os Países Baixos partem da região amazônica, com escala no Suriname, país que faz fronteira com os estados do Pará e Amapá. Um relatório da ONG Fórum da Amazônia Oriental revela que das 241 rotas de tráfico de seres humanos identificadas no Brasil, 76 passam pela região Norte. 
• As mulheres são o principal alvo do tráfico internacional de seres humanos. A Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) estima que, só na Europa, 500 mil mulheres sejam traficadas a cada ano. As brasileiras engrossam as estatísticas no velho continente e somam 75 mil, o equivalente a 15% das vítimas. 
• Dos brasileiros que cruzam o Atlântico vítimas do tráfico, 90% são do sexo feminino. Espanha, Holanda, Itália, Portugal, Suíça e França são os principais destinos das brasileiras, segundo as Nações Unidas. E elas chegam principalmente dos estados de Goiás, São Paulo, Ceará, Minas Gerais e Rio de Janeiro.
•  Pobreza e falta de oportunidades são apontadas pela Organização Internacional para Migração (OIM) como um estímulo à expansão do tráfico de seres humanos no mundo. Desde 1994 combatendo as redes internacionais, a entidade já providenciou assistência a cerca de 15 mil vítimas do tráfico de pessoas e implementou 500 projetos de reinserção em 85 países. 
• O tráfico mundial de pessoas, que inclui, em sua maioria, crianças e adolescentes, movimenta 12 milhões de dólares, o equivalente a R$ 36,468 milhões por ano. É, portanto, o terceiro mercado criminoso do mundo, sendo superado apenas pelos tráficos de armas e drogas. Esses números foram destacados pela deputada Laura Carneiro. 
• Segundo a Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), a cada ano cerca de um milhão de crianças são exploradas sexualmente no mundo, pelo tráfico, pelo abuso sexual, pela prostituição e pornografia infantil, o que comprova a existência de uma indústria com o tráfico.

Sociedade não pode ficar 'impassível' com o tráfico humano, diz Papa

A Confederação Nacional dos Bispos do Brasil (CNBB) divulgou nesta quarta-feira (5) mensagem na qual o Papa Francisco afirma que a sociedade não pode ficar “impassível” diante do tráfico de pessoas.

A mensagem foi lida durante o lançamento da Campanha da Fraternidade de 2014, em Brasília. Com o tema "Fraternidade e o Tráfico Humano" e o lema "É para a liberdade que Cristo nos libertou", a campanha da Igreja Católica tem o objetivo de identificar e denunciar o crime de tráfico humano.

“Não é possível ficar impassível, sabendo que existem seres humanos tratados como mercadorias. Pense-se em adoções de criança para remoção de órgãos, em mulheres enganadas e obrigadas a prostituir-se, em trabalhadores explorados, sem direitos nem voz, etc. Isso é tráfico humano!”, completou o Papa na mensagem enviada à CNBB.

Na cerimônia de lançamento da campanha, a confederação dos bispos entregou cópias da mensagem enviada pelo Papa Francisco. No texto, o Papa afirmou que é preciso fazer “profundo exame de consciência” sobre a tolerância de que seres humanos são tratados como “objeto”.

“Há necessidade de um profundo exame de consciência: de fato, quantas vezes toleramos que um ser humano seja considerado como um objeto, exposto para vender um produto ou para satisfazer desejos imorais? A pessoa humana não se deveria vender e comprar como uma mercadoria. Quem a usa e explora, mesmo indiretamente, torna-se cúmplice desta prepotência”, disse o Papa.

Francisco afirmou ainda na mensagem que a dignidade é “igual” para todas as pessoas e que “faz votos” para que os brasileiros possam “comprometer-se” com o combate ao tráfico de pessoas.

Durante o lançamento, o secretário-geral da CNBB, Dom Leonardo Ulrich Steiner, afirmou que o objetivo da campanha é lutar contra o tráfico de pessoas e identificar onde a prática ocorre.

“Nosso propósito é apoiar projetos que lutem contra com o tráfico humano e que identifiquem o tráfico humano. (...) A campanha tem como objeto identificar a prática de tráfico humano em suas várias formas, e denunciar essa prática como violação da dignidade humana, mobilizando cristãos e a sociedade brasileira para enfrentar esse mal”, disse.

Dom Leonardo Steiner afirmou que o fundo da campanha arrecadou no ano passado R$ 5,3 milhões e que a expectativa de arrecadação para este ano é quantia semelhante. Segundo Dom Leonardo, o dinheiro servirá para apoiar os projetos que apoiem a causa.

Para o ministro da Justiça, José Eduardo Cardozo, que participou do evento, o tráfico de pessoas “muitas vezes não aparece”, porque “às vezes”, a vítima e a família têm “vergonha” de denunciar. O ministro afirmou que o governo federal tem adotado medidas contra o tráfico, como o Plano Nacional de Combate ao Tráfico de Pessoas.

“Causa surpresa que algumas espécies de crime ainda persistem na história da humanidade. É inaceitável o crime de tráfico de pessoas, não importa a modalidade do crime. É absurdo, de qualquer maneira, seja o tráfico de mulheres, crianças e em quaisquer outras dimensões. E merece um gesto de reação muito forte da sociedade”, afirmou o ministro.

Questionado se o governo possui dados atualizados sobre o tráfico de pessoas no Brasil, Cardozo afirmou que, “infelizmente”, o número de inquéritos policiais que tratam do crime ainda é “muito pequeno” em relação ao crime. O ministro, contudo, não informou dados.

During the launch , the secretary general of the CNBB Bishop Leonardo Ulrich Steiner , said the goal of the campaign is to combat human trafficking and identify where the practice occurs .

" Our purpose is to support projects that fight against human trafficking and to identify human trafficking . Papa e Obama discutem tráfico humano e conflitos mundiais

O Papa e o Presidente dos Estados Unidos conversaram hoje sobre temas como o direito a vida, o tráfico de pessoas e os conflitos no mundo, de acordo com um comunicado do Vaticano.


"Houve uma conversa sobre questões de particular relevância sobre a Igreja naquele país (EUA), como o exercício dos direitos de liberdade religiosa, da vida e da objeção de consciência", refere a nota do Vaticano.

O Papa defendeu o direito dos médicos que se recusam a realizar abortos nos Estados Unidos.

Obama e o Papa Francisco concordaram, durante a reunião, sobre um "compromisso comum" para erradicar o tráfico humano e discutiram a reforma da imigração nos Estados Unidos.

Os dois chefes de Estado sublinharam a necessidade do direito internacional ser respeitado em zonas de conflito em todo o mundo e uma "solução negociada entre as partes envolvidas" nestes conflitos, refere o comunicado do Vaticano, que não menciona que conflitos foram abordados na reunião.

Obama parecia à vontade e brincou com o papa durante a parte aberta aos repórteres de seu primeiro encontro com ele, dizendo em dado momento não saber como sua mulher e suas filhas “o aguentam”. 

Presidente e sua delegação, incluindo o secretário de Estado, John Kerry, passaram pelos saguões decorados de afrescos do Palácio Apostólico do Vaticano até a entrada da biblioteca particular de Francisco.

Não foram divulgados até o momento quaisquer detalhes da conversa, mas na véspera da reunião Obama deu uma entrevista ao jornal italiano Corriere della Sera elogiando o compromisso do papa com o enfrentamento da diferença crescente entre ricos e pobres. “É uma grande honra. Sou um grande admirador”, disse o presidente ao ser saudado pelo papa e convidado a se sentar junto à mesa do pontífice. “Muito obrigado por me receber”.

As redes criminosas do tráfico valem-se dessa condição, que facilita o aliciamento com enganosas promessas de vida mais digna. Fraternidade e tráfico humano

 A Igreja do Brasil realiza há 40 anos a Campanha da Fraternidade durante o período da Quaresma. A proposta procura unir a espiritualidade de conversão e a penitência deste tempo litúrgico em preparação para a Páscoa, as realidades sociais e carências humanitárias que exigem um maior comprometimento da nossa fé cristã.
 Neste ano, a Conferência Nacional dos Bispos do Brasil (CNBB) propõe como tema Fraternidade e tráfico humano e como lema É para a liberdade que Cristo nos libertou. A sugestão nasceu de entidades ligadas à Pastoral da Mobilidade Humana e de grupos que trabalham para combater o trabalho escravo. Após um longo aprofundamento sobre o assunto, chegou-se à conclusão de que se trata de uma grave chaga social que afeta o mundo e representa um dos mais sérios problemas humanitários do nosso país. 
 De acordo com Estudos da Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), são consideradas vítimas do tráfico humano pessoas aprisionadas pelo trabalho escravo e a exploração sexual. Em 2012, pelo menos 20,9 milhões foram vítimas deste crime em todo o mundo. No Brasil, pelo menos 2,5 milhões de pessoas são vítimas deste aliciamento envolvendo crianças, jovens e adultos. Geralmente, as vítimas são pessoas frágeis e inocentes que sonham com uma vida melhor, com a chance de sobrevivência ou com uma vida mais digna. São envolvidas em falsas promessas ou simplesmente levadas à força sem qualquer oportunidade de uma outra escolha. Tortura psicológica, constantes ameaças, falta de perspectivas ou qualquer proteção dos órgãos de segurança, fazem destas pessoas presas fáceis dos aliciadores.
 A Campanha da Fraternidade de 2014 chega numa boa hora em nosso país. O Brasil é palco de importantes eventos internacionais como a Copa do Mundo e os Jogos Olímpicos, no Rio de Janeiro, em 2016. A realização destes eventos aumenta a oferta e a procura pelo turismo sexual. Denúncias de trabalho escravo e exploração sexual, sobretudo de menores, fazem parte das manchetes dos nossos jornais quase de forma cotidiana. No Congresso Nacional, uma comissão parlamentar procura denunciar quem promove esta prática criminosa.
 A Igreja procura denunciar estruturas e situações causadoras do tráfico humano e reivindicar, dos poderes públicos, políticas e meios para reinserção das pessoas atingidas pelo tráfico humano e na vida familiar e social.
 Cada um de nós é chamado a se envolver nesta causa social e combater esta perversidade humana. Não se iniba em denunciar qualquer suspeita deste crime perto de você. Ao mesmo tempo, não deixe de ajudar entidades que trabalham por esta nobre causa. O trabalho escravo e a exploração sexual acontecem muitas vezes ao nosso lado, e não damos conta disso. Cristo nos libertou para que sejamos livres. Trabalhemos pela liberdade das vítimas desta opressão.

 This year, the National Conference of the Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) proposes like subject Fraternity and human traffic and like motto É for the freedom that Christ freed us. The suggestion was born of entities connected with the Pastoral one of the Human Mobility and of groups that work in order that slave fights the work. After a long deepening on the subject, was come to the conclusion of which it is the question of a serious social wound that affects the world and represents one of the most serious humane problems of our country.
 In accordance with Studies of the International Organization of the Work (OIT), healthy when victims of the human traffic were considered persons imprisoned by the work slave and the sexual exploration. In 2012, at least 20,9 millions were victims of this crime in whole world. In Brazil, at least 2,5 million persons are victims of this aliciamento wrapping children, young persons and adults. Generally, the victims are fragile and innocent persons who dream about a better life, about the chance of survival or about a worthier life. They are wrapped in false promises or simply taken by force without any opportunity of another choice.  The Campaign of the Fraternity of 2014 arrives in a good hour in our country. Brazil is a stage of important international events like the Top of the World and the Olympic Games, in the Rio de Janeiro, in 2016. The realization of these events increases the offer and the search for the sexual tourism. Work denunciations slave and sexual exploration, especially of juveniles, make part of the headlines of our newspapers almost in the daily form. In the National Congress, a parliamentary commission tries to denounce the one who promotes this criminal practice. 
 The Church tries to denounce structures and situations which caused the human traffic and to claim, of the public powers, policies and ways for reinsertion of the persons reached by the human traffic and in the familiar and social life.
 Each one of us is called being wrapped in this social question and fighting this human perversity. Do not be inhibited in denouncing any suspicion of this crime near to you. At the same time, do not stop helping entities that work for this noble cause. The work slave and the sexual exploration happen very often to our side, and we do not notice that. Christ freed us so that we are free. Let's work for the freedom of the victims of this oppression.

A vítima e os aliciadores 

 - A vítima é retirada de seu ambiente, de sua cidade e até de seu país e fica com a mobilidade reduzida, sem liberdade de sair da situação de exploração, isso torna difícil o retorno dessas pessoas, as quais foram escolhidas com grande vulnerabilidade e entre as camadas pobres.
 - Os aliciadores são homens e mulheres que podem fazer parte do círculo de amizades e da família da vítima (laços afetivos), são geralmente sedutores e têm alto poder de convencimento. 

 O que posso fazer? 
 O primeiro passo é a prevenção:
 a) Sempre duvide de propostas cheias de benefícios 
b) Leia atentamente os contratos, pesquise sobre a empresa e procure auxílio de área jurídica
 c) Evite deixar documentos ou cópias com amigos e familiares pois estes podem acidentalmente entregá-los 
d) Deixe endereço, localização ou telefone do destino
 e) Informe a quem viaja telefones e endereços de consulados e ONGs 
f) Para quem viaja é importante não deixar de comunicar-se com familiares e amigos, se isso ocorrer por intermédio de terceiros é importante ficarem atentos

A Campanha da Fraternidade de 2014, preconizada pela CNBB, trata a temática da “Fraternidade e Tráfico Humano”, evidenciando, entre outras modalidades perversas, a exploração sexual infanto-juvenil e adulta, sobretudo de mulheres enganadas em busca de melhores condições de vida; a extração de órgãos comercializados a preço de ouro e a exploração para o trabalho escravo.

Os roteiros do tráfico humano seguem esquemas paralelos aos do crime organizado, envolvendo transações bilionárias que chegam a faturar, anualmente, 32 bilhões de dólares. A vida mercantilizada expressa a realidade da sociedade de consumo que endeusa as coisas e usa as pessoas, reduzidas a insumos comerciais, úteis e descartáveis. A inversão de valores éticos leva a negação e ao desprezo à dignidade do ser humano. Os padrões de felicidade divulgados por grupos financistas e pela propaganda paga confundem os sentimentos e a índole das pessoas.

Pelo ponto de vista individualista, a busca da felicidade sugere que eu use alguém enquanto ele/ela me satisfaça. Depois eu a descarto como objeto inútil ou a elimino como queima de arquivo. Muitas pessoas e famílias não recebem adequada formação de caráter, baseado nos valores éticos e morais. Consequentemente, não se consegue transmitir esses valores as novas gerações. O que fazer para resgatar a dignidade perdida de milhares de pessoas que foram vítimas das formas mais perversas de escravidão? Se fosse considerada isoladamente, nenhuma instituição teria uma infraestrutura capaz de encaminhar soluções, enfrentando diversas situações envoltas em fatores complexos.

É indispensável unir esforços e integrar os meios disponíveis pelas instituições na corresponsabilidade que incumbe a todos: União, governos estaduais e municipais, polícias, conselhos de cidadania, voluntariado, clubes de serviço, Igrejas, movimentos sociais. Todos nós aprendamos a enfrentar os conflitos, tentando reverter situações da escravatura, através de políticas públicas assumidas em parceria. A raiz da violência é o egoísmo e ausência de amor a Deus e ao próximo. Perdidos os valores referenciais da fé e da prática da justiça, alguém chega a degradar o ser humano, legitimando expedientes que bradam aos céus por socorro divino. The itineraries of the human traffic follow parallel schemes to that of the organized crime, wrapping billionaire transactions that come invoicing, annually, 32 billion dollars. The life mercantilizada expresses the reality of the society of consumption that deifies the things and uses the persons come down to commercial, useful and disposable inputs. The valuable inversion éticos takes the negation and to the scorn to the dignity of a human being. The standards of happiness spread by groups financiers and for the paid propaganda they confuse the feelings and the nature of the persons.

Many persons and families do not receive appropriate formation of character, based on the values éticos and moral. Consequently, it is not got the new generations transmit these values. If it was considered separately, no institution would have an infraestrutura able to direct solutions, if it faced several situations wrapped in complex factors.

It is essential to join efforts and to integrate the available ways for the institutions in the corresponsabilidade that is all duty: Union, state and municipal governments, police, councils of citizenship, volunteers, clubs of service, Churches, social movements. All of we learn to face the conflicts, trying to revert situations of the slavery, through public policies assumed in partnership. The root of the violence is the selfishness and absence of love at God and at a near one.
